Sep 2014 Post Celebration Picnic

Post members and their families are invited to our Post Celebration Picnic on Saturday, Sep 13, at the Rio Cibolo Ranch to celebrate our two-peat win of the Society's Top Large Post for 2012 and 2013. This will be a day of fun, good food, celebration and friendship to thank all members for their support and hard work that made these repeat awards possible. The Post is sponsoring this event for its members.

LOCATION

Steeped in History, the Rio Cibolo Ranch is a long-established working longhorn cattle ranch and pecan orchard located 25 minutes northeast of downtown San Antonio. The Ranch is situated about a mile south of Interstate 10, along the route the Spanish Conquistadoors took as they moved westward during the 16th century.

You'll be experiencing western-style hospitality in an authentic ranch setting ... a little bit of Texas and a whole lot of fun!

RESERVATIONS

To reserve your space for the event sign up for the individual Member or Member Plus Family ticket above.

There is a minimal fee to reserve for the event (just $5 for a member or $10 for a member plus family) so we have a good count of attendees to insure we have plenty of food and fixings for everyone. All the reservation fees will be put back into prizes for the games we have planned for the picnic.

You can pay by credit card when making your reservation or select "show other payment options" when making your reservation and mail in a check to the Post mailbox after completing your reservation.

If you elect to pay by check, mail your check made out to "SAME San Antonio Post" NLT five (5) days after your reservtion to:

You will receive an email confirmation through the Eventbrite system for your reservation(s).

This event is for San Antonio Post members only and their familes so please be sure that you check the membership rosters to be sure you are listed as a member.

CANCELLATIONS

You can cancel your reservations right up until the ticket sales deadline, Sep 4.

If you pre-paid and cancel by the deadline, you will be issued a full refund.

You can cancel your reservations by sending an email to the Event POC at dkochanek@satx.rr.com.

PICNIC MEAL

The meal will be a Western Food Round-Up featuring:

• slow smoked brisket, chciken quarters and sausage
• tangy potatoe salad
• ranch beans with onions and special sauce
• crisp coleslaw
• all the condiments
• baked ranch rolls
• assorted cobblers with ice cream for dessert
• lemonade, ice tea, iced water and coffee

There also be two kegs of free beer and a cash bar (for those that want to partake).

Lots of great food for all our members and their families.

FULL DAY OF FAMILY FUN

We have lots of fun and entertainment planned:

• miscellaneous games and sports (all day)
• kiddie corral playground (all day)
• wrangler games room (all day)
• western air bounce (all day)
• hey wagon rides and longhorn feeding (12 - 2 pm)
